Absolutely! We understand you might have a specific vision for your sofa. While we don’t directly copy copyrighted designs, we’d be happy to work with you to create a sofa inspired by the style you found.

In most cases, yes! All of our upholstered furniture features double-sided, removable cushion covers. This allows you to flip the cushions for even wear and tear, and even wash them (depending on the material).

However, there are a few exceptions:

Fixed/Tight Back or Seat Cushions: If your sofa has a fixed or tight back or seat cushion (not removable), the cover will not be double-sided.
Button-Tufted Cushions: For sofas with button-tufted cushions, the situation is a bit different. While the cushions themselves are double-sided (with buttons on both sides), the covers might not be removable. This means you can still flip the cushions but can’t remove the covers for separate washing.

Frames: We use kiln-dried alder hardwood. Kiln drying removes excess moisture to prevent warping and ensure your couch frame stays strong and stable for years to come. Alder is a popular choice for furniture due to its durability and attractive grain. We avoid softwoods like particleboard, which can be less structurally sound.

Suspension: We offer three excellent suspension options to suit your comfort preferences.

Sinuous springs (our most popular choice): These provide a supportive and slightly bouncy feel.
8-way hand-tied coils: This traditional method offers superior support and conforms to your body shape for luxurious comfort.

European style webbing: This webbing creates a firmer feel and distributes weight evenly.

By using high-quality frames and suspension systems, we ensure your couch provides lasting comfort and support.

We use high-quality, CertiPUR-US® certified polyurethane foam in our seat cushions to provide exceptional comfort and long-lasting support.

Here’s a breakdown of what makes our foam special:

High Density: Our 2.8lb per cubic foot (PCF) foam is denser than the industry standard (1.8 PCF), offering superior resilience and preventing sagging over time. This high-density foam is also referred to as High Resiliency (HR) foam within the industry.
Comfort and Support: The carefully chosen density provides a balance of plushness and firmness, ensuring your comfort for years to come.
Safety and Sustainability: Our foam is CertiPUR-US® certified, meaning it’s free of harmful chemicals like formaldehyde and PBDE flame retardants.

For the most enduring comfort, we also offer the option to upgrade your seat cushions to 5lb PCF latex.
